After doing quite a bit of research on this so-called Mohammed I found a couple critical points...the Koran was written hundreds of years/ several generations after he supposedly lived(why would one trust anything in such a text)...there is not a shred of actual evidence he ever existed...only legends...my thought is this..."Mohammed" was a concoction/archetypal figure that was used to unify the many divided warring tribes to oppose to encroaching Jews and Christians into their traditional territories. And several great scholars agree with me.

I would be content if the Left would recognize there is an INCREDIBLE incompatibility with many of the beliefs held by the majority of muslims and Western Civilization....
I would be happy with HONEST talk about islam from the Left in the Media, on message boards, Social Media and the culture at large, but alas, islam is coddled and treated as if any criticism of this particular cult should be met with beheading....well, I guess it often is, but you know what I mean....

That could have been worded better, as I don’t think conservatives are necessarily “against” Muslims.
But I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that a conversative, Western society tends to ‘clash’ with a sharia law, Muslim world.

No, that it absolutely incorrect. Over the last century we have worked through international organizations and through trade relationships to press for human rights around the world. We have had success in that area.

The American so-called conservatives, like the idiots in this thread, refuse to promote human rights around the world. Do you know why? Because you don't believe in human rights. You find them inconvenient. You don't believe in free religion.

No, not true.
Christianity was never about war, slavery, rape or conversion at the point of the sword, islam always was.
Christianity was about this dude named Jesus who said he was here to get rid of the old ways and paid a pretty hefty price for it....
islam waters flow from a poisoned source, mohammed was a warmonger, a pedophile a misogynist and a slave-owner and there was never a "rebirth"....

There is no practical need for any religion in today's world. Let's all quit being a coward. How about facing life & death bravely and quit deluding ourselves with these ancient methods of dealing with our demise! Personally this is how I live each day! But that's just me.
