I just said in the post you're responding to that it is both DEPENDING ON WHICH SPECIFIC EDICTS ARE BEING DISCUSSED.
Maybe I need to be more clear. What that means is that not all ethical edicts are based on morality, but some are.

Of course not. That point was made earlier in the thread. Ethics are largely a subset of both rules and morality.
