Putin knows he'll get a lot of Europeans and Americans in his pocket with this one. I see this as him playing politics. Increased likelihood of elected officials friendly to Russia in the West.

"In Russia, live like Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, it should speak Russian, and should respect all Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, and wish to live the life of Muslims, then we now clearly advise them to go and live in those places where that's the state law.

Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'!

We will not tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture.

We had better learn from the suicides of so-called democracies -- America, England, France, Germany, and Holland -- if we are to survive as a nation.

The Muslims are taking over those countries, BUT they will NOT take over Russia!

Mother Russia will see us through this

I have no problem with what Putin said for his country. But the Russians flipped out when Ukraine said basically the same for its citizens: Ukrainian First. IMO the Russians are being hypocritical over the Ukrainian government calling for it's citizens to be Ukrainian First. He gave many of the people in the Ukrainian Donbass region Russian passports technically making them Russian citizens. Now if the Ukrainian government tries to reestablish sovereignty over the region he can claim that they are persecuting "Russian citizens" or the "Russian minority". It is a reason to destabalize or invade (Crimea). If you go by Putin's words:"Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, it should speak Russian, and should respect all Russian laws." Shouldn't that same principle apply to the people in the Donbass in regards to Ukrainian speech and Ukrainian laws? After all the Donbass is part of Ukraine.

That’s a good thing. Politicians are not elected to “fundamentally change” a country. Especially when that country is the best and most powerful country on the planet, like America.

No one is forced to like it, no one is forced to stay in it, and anyone can carry their arse whenever they want

The only reason 95% of the US dislikes, distrusts, hates, Russia is because the corrupt media and corrupt American politicians tell them to.

Unlike W, who claimed to have looked into Putin's eyes, I hear his words, and I understand what he says.

I kinda get it.

I think everyone should feel such pride in themselves, and their country.

That's why MAGA mattes.

His response would probably be they were already Russians. And it’s always Russians First with Putin.

That doesn't make him right in regards to Ukrainian sovereignty. Russia First doesn't apply to the territory of another sovereign nation.
