Me. My coverage is absolutely fantastic. But I also acknowledge I am very (TRIGGER WARNING) privileged in that regard. Employer is one of the best hospitals in the country. Unregulated Capitalism is not a great engine for Healthcare. And our heavily regulated Capitalism is even worse. M4A is not better. Just different. Cost, quality, and access are the indicators for evaluating a health care system, and NO ONE has figured out how to be successful at all 3. Every single country has 1 or more of those deficiencies. And the only political debate countries really have is which 2 to focus on.

Again….for the millionth time, the quickest way to Medicare for All is to believe that everyone loves private health insurance and that nothing needs to be to be done.
Health insurance is my single largest overhead expense. At least with Workers comp I can make certain safety issues a condition of employment. But I can’t mandate that employees exercise daily and eat healthy foods.
Many business owners that I know are so frustrated with the 4,6, 10% annual premium increases that they’re at the”frick it, bring on Medicare for all” because at least theyll pay the same as their competitors and it will be embedded in the labor rate…

Anytime Medicare for all comes up republicans should say if it worked then the blue states would do now. Push them to show everyone what a failure it is . Blue states won’t do it because they know it will fail and will chase away more of the upper class.

Health insurance needs to be divorced from employment.

And you think Medicare for All is cheaper and you pay less? Just look at Canada, they charge you not only higher taxes directly, they charge business es that pass it to you to. The price of what you buy in Canada is at leat double of what you pay in the US; it is higher even at Costco not to mention the quality of health care sucks.

All the people I know reliant on the VA (Government provided healthcare) really, really hate it.
