Nothing will happen to the officers, and rightfully so. Baton Rouge's tan community will throw a fit and cry racism, BRPD will beat their asses when they inevitably riot, and all will go away in a few weeks.

We have to make sure Bodi is in office.

Has it been confirmed that he did, in fact, have a gun?

One of my really close friends told me that Sterling in fact had a gun. It did discharge, and he did shoot himself in his own leg. His dad is the former Sheriff of a parish in La

The charges wouldn't be murder, more like manslauter or less.

I don't see a gun in the video, only the officer poking something into the pocket to look for a gun. I find it hard to believe the pd would have kept a gun quiet for hours much less months.

I think the officer who fired did so accidentally. It looks like he was trying to free his gun from something, possibly his radio before the first shot.

So do they release the findings this afternoon? tomorrow morning?

Nothing like the end of football season and a good hard freeze to preemptively squash protests.

Expect the protests to be just as heated if not more than the last round. You can also expect BRPD and local enforcement groups to be even more firm than they were when all this shite went down the first time. Rest assure, they are going to lay the fricking smackdown on these animals this go around.

At least they have the "Memorandum of Understanding" in place. The protesters agreed to follow the same permitting process as parades, movies and festivals when seeking permission to obstruct vehicular passage of roadways.......

Will be funny when the "permit" is continually denied.
I'm all for civil protest, but don't damage other's property and block their commute unlawfully.
