According to 1/2 John that’s the only thing it is - antichrists were Christians that simply believed in the pre-gospel Jesus. That is, they believed in the celestial version of Jesus killed in heaven by the archons of this aeon. They believed Jesus was never on earth as a flesh and blood person, which was a heresy to the author of the epistles of 1/2 John and obviously not consistent with the man walking on water and healing the bleeding woman on planet earth.

You proved my point. The early church fathers had to write papers to convince others who actually wrote the gospels, because they were anonymous and there were disagreements about authorship. Consequently guys like Papias and Irenaeus had to try to persuade others by writing arguments.

It’s not 1-3 year difference. It was 10 years between King Herod the Great dying and Quirinius becoming governor. Is this shite not divinely inspired? If they contradict each other, then one of them at least has to be wrong. Can you grasp that?

I don’t believe in fairy tales just because someone told me. I am resistant to indoctrination and am a critical thinker. Yes I support the scientific method. I believe we can state something is “truth” if we can positively show it to be true using evidence and facts and the scientific method.
