Am I missing this 3rd cop that you guys see?

I thought from the video in the OP that it was 3 cops and 3 fire/rescue. So it was 2 cops and 4 fire/rescue.

I’ve watched this about six or seven times now and it just keeps getting better every time I watch it.

hadn't thought of that, so at least he's an a-hole. Not a sympathetic figure.

I’m not as concerned with his sympathy quotient. J would expect a big difference in approach from the police towards an agitator/terrorist and a crackhead.

He was in the middle of his backswing when shot. He connects to the neck, it’s deadly.

I think what's being questioned is why six men, three of them armed and apparently trained to handle violent confrontations, felt their lives were in danger because some crackhead had a screwdriver.

Firemen aren't armed. 2 cops and 4 firemen.

So one man has to risk being stabbed while the others subdue the stabber so the stabber doesn't get injured...

Seems weird that you want the attacker to have less risk than the attacked.

How should we decide which of the attacked takes the risk?

Should the fireman jump in front of the aggressor and take the stab since he is unarmed and doesn't have handcuffs also since he is not trained in restraint methods?

Or does the attacker have the right to choose?
