China, Japan, and South Korea were to announce a combined coordinated effort to any US tariffs. Been two business days and will not happen as China has already called their shot. Governments won't band together and it's every country for themselves. The first ones to come to the table will get the best results from Trump. Kind of like making a deal to flip in a criminal case. First to flip gets the deal, everyone else gets prosecution. Trump will also treat first deals good so he can crow about it and encourage more deals.
Other countries are not "bending the knee", they're negotiating.
