She pointed out the "advantages" of it. That's promoting it. DWI.

So if I produce a 5 minute video telling teenagers about the Nazis, does that mean I a promoting Nazism?

I think if you said there were advantages to Nazism that would certainly be seen as promoting it.

Depends.

If you market it to them like this . . .

Or this . . . .

Why Sexuality?
Well duuhhh…because sex is awesome! It’s fun, it feels good, it’s a way to connect with others, to connect with ourselves, and it’s how our species continues. It’s also tied to more social ills than one might realize. Sexuality is certainly not just about sex….

Alas! Forward on my quest for vagina love (and all the other types of love too).

you're promoting.

Where? I've watched this thing four times and at no point does she mention advantages of BDSM. In fact, at no point does she suggest anyone should try it, or that she likes it, etc. She even goes out of her way to explain why this and true abuse should not be confused...and if she's promoting anything in the video it's to respect your partner when you engage in any type of sex.

Simply informational.

Listen to it again. Focus on the part about a "runner's high".

Why? I've seen video of hers ranging from sexuality to other social issues. That's her, honestly aggravating, personality. One can be energetic AND discuss a serious topic without promoting the topic at hand.

Well, sex Is awesome. It is fun. It does feel good. It's all of those things. But simply saying sex feels good and is fun doesn't mean she's advocating any and all topic at hand. There are quite a few topics that she discusses where she spends the entire time talking about the negatives of it.

If it's a tax issue, I'll agree. If you don't like her take on the topic, then we can have a discussion about that. There's just nothing to be gained by saying the video is promoting (in this case the OP was clearly suggesting ADVOCATING FOR) BDSM to teens.

So...she DOESN'T list advantages of it.

Got it.

Again...why not just say you don't like her talking about this icky subject rather than putting words in her mouth to make your point?

Yep...no mention of advantages at all. Not even a graphic listing all the wonderful advantages of it.

All she did was explain the why some do it and related it to a thing some may have heard of.

Creating trust isn't an advantage? Stop being obtuse.

Wow!

That is some kind of ridiculous disingenuity.
Package that up and give it to AlGore for one of his Global Warming seminars

Yep, clearly she is promoting something that is completely inappropriate and damn sure should not be funded by the federal government. Basically it's social engineering by the current statist regime.

It depends what your motives are. In this case, I suspect she is trying to encourage this behavior.

Are you really comparing BDSM to oral sex?

Rob, do you really think it fosters respect between a man and a woman, or a man and a man in your case, when they physically hit each other?

Being that Debbie's accused me of raping people before, my guess would be no.

certainly.

In the eyes of your church BDSM should be celebrated because there is at least a chance that you can produce offspring with that sex act.

If you are just getting head...then you are committing a sin.

amirite?
