We need to cut off our consumerism from China. Obviously difficult made even more risky given their total dominance in pharmaceutical and medical products. With that said individuals can start weaning away from Chinese products if they just knew how.
Here is a short list of companies with products made in America

If there are more comprehensive lists, please add and maybe we can request a sticky and use as a resource.

You can buy 80% lowers that are American made, I won't list companies but you can google them. Nothing like the seeing a new American made AR-15 in the morning sun.

I buy a lot of places on that site already. The quality of a lot of those places is tremendous.
The site is missing musical instruments though. Rickenbacker, Taylor, G&L, and others are all made in America, while Fender and Gibson have certain lines that are still made here.
Here's another directory which is pretty extensive. LINK

Trying to buy power tools that were made anywhere else than in China is a lesson in frustration. Im done buying anything made from China unless there is literally no other option
There are ZERO currently manufactured in USA tools used by the vast majority of carpenters daily:
-Miter saws
-Corded drills
-Table saws
-Circular saws

Something simple, but often overlooked:
Dog toys made in the USA:
Start here - Reviews
Dog Tuff
Mickey's Pet Supplies
Westpaw
A few of many that make their products in the United States

I was thinking the other day that a "MADE IN AMERICA" app would be a hell of an idea. I looked it up, looks like someone already thought of it and started one back in 2015. IMO it's average...not that great of an app.
I still say if the general public was educated and this idea of manufacturing brought back to our country was pushed and marketed correctly it would be a home run for every single one of us in the long run.

Can you scan the barcode and find out or do you have to manually search?

New Balance has factories in New England and uses the Made In The USA tag as a selling point. They specifically mark those, so if you buy then you're telling NB to keep making them here.

If I had the capital, I would love to start a retailer or something that dealt exclusively in USA-made things. Unionmade used to be a great place for sorting high quality clothing that wasn't made in China, but they closed down.

Yeah I think it was just a deal where you typed it in manually.

After recently buying a mattress, you can find outstanding US made mattresses and US made bed sheets and pillows but do prepare for a bit more price shock in the bed sheets and pillows.
I purchased an Intellibed Nightfall mattress recently. Nice seeing a USA tag on it and 20 year warranty. By far the best I've ever laid on and that gel matrix is phenomenal.
FYI Mattress Firm is having a 50% off the already reduced by a grand on Intellibed.

St Croix fishing rods. They make some in Wisconsin and some in Mexico, and they’re very up front about where each rod is made.

A lot of companies can put made in America on their product
because they are assembled in the USA while 90% of the parts are made in china or wherever. Suppose to be 51% American content. Guess they inflate the cost of assembly.
The industrial valve business is full of this B.S.
