They are redrawing the lines so that no one has an advantage, not to give the Dems one.

The Presidential race was damn near a tie in 2016 but the House delegation from Penn. is 12 Republicans and 5 Democrats. That's the power of gerrymandering.

If you are ok with it then you are more interested in power than Democracy.

It looks like the court drawn map was attempting to draw borders on county lines where possible. It certainly looks much more simple than the GOP map from 2011.


The four U and T shaped districts from 2011 get straightened out. Pretty amazing that no two incumbants were placed in the same district.

I dont see how anyone can argue with that layout. County lines are the primary boundaries - the way it should be.

LOL - I spent a couple of minutes trying to figure out what that small light blue area in dist. 16 was. :doh:

You know the rule Gerrymandering is bad unless it helps for party.

That new map is a lot less rigged than the old one.
