This is why Beijing, which runs $350 billion to $400 billion in annual trade surpluses at our expense, is howling loudest. Should Donald Trump impose that 25 percent tariff on all $500 billion in Chinese exports to the USA, it would cripple China’s economy. Factories seeking assured access to the U.S. market would flee in panic from the Middle Kingdom.
Tariffs were the taxes that made America great. They were the taxes relied upon by the first and greatest of our early statesmen, before the coming of the globalists Woodrow Wilson and FDR.

I always felt that Pat was too intellectual to appeal to the masses. It's too bad he never became Preisdent. If he had, the entire Republican neocon movement would have likely been pretty brief, instead of completely absorbing the Republican Party. This is a good writeup on the tariff subject.

How old is Pat now? I wish he was President back when but the establishment destroyed him calling him a jew hater. fake news won with him and Quayle.

Crossfire was one of the first shows that allowed for a solid dissenting conservative voice to be heard, and Pat did a very good job of voicing our opinions. Back when CNN actually had value.

They are not coming here. The destruction of China is due to its one child policy, and companies are already moving to Vietnam, India and Mexico.
Chinese business practices and supply chain problems are the reason.
quote:
BEIJING (AP) — Foreign companies are shifting investments and their Asian headquarters out of China as confidence plunges following the expansion of an anti-spying law and other challenges, a business group said Wednesday.
The report by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China adds is one of many signs of growing pessimism despite the ruling Communist Party’s efforts to revive interest in the world’s No. 2 economy following the end of anti-virus controls.
Companies are uneasy about security controls, government protection of their Chinese rivals and a lack of action on reform promises, according to the European Chamber. They also are being squeezed by slowing Chinese economic growth and rising costs.

I did too. I often think about how differently the world would be if he'd won. I certainly believe that without us meddling in Middle Eastern affairs, there's no 9/11 and subsequent War on Terror. I believe that we'd be much more financially solvent and less reliant on foreign goods without globalization.

When he was planning to run for Pres in 96 we were talking politics in my American history class and I mentioned I liked PB. My young black football coach history teacher said “oh so you’re a racist”. As a young black adult male he was already lost.
