I was saying it's a slippery slope back in the 80's and 90's.

Sooooo...maybe he actually put forward the concern that another building could be hit while we were under attack. To me, unless otherwise noted in full, that may simply illustrate that he was calm enough to use deductive reasoning. Maybe that was "Donald being Donald."
