I feel more and more confident that our economy is in the early stages of coming back very strong. Not everyone agrees with me, but I have little doubt. Watch for September, October, November. Next year will be one of the best ever, and look at the Stock Market NOW!

The DOW is north of 26k, which means COVID-19 related losses are now mostly made up for (8k of 11kish have been recovered).

To sustain this, we need to get people back to work - people need to rebuild their dreams, businesses, and organizations again. The compromises made are gonna suck, but it's time. Our nation's morale fricking needs it.

It's going to be news of mixed bags. You will have the numbers from last month but then also the recovery numbers that are trending in a positive direction.

Lot's of furloughed people have went back to work. They find out quickly how boring it is not to work.

Working from home on the other hand is awesome!

I am so much more productive. I wake up at 5, start at 6, get drowsy and take a nap, then finish

get a lot more done than starting at 8 and forcing myself to stay awake at 2

frequently work more hours than I would otherwise

He’d certainly rather have you look at that than GDP, rising bankruptcies, and unemployment.

Well if the stock market is tanking there probably won’t be any hiring.

How can any politician be blamed for a weak job market when there was a global virus that caused us to halt the 21st century human condition in this country?

Y'all probably already know I don't care for Trump - but this ain't on him. He was given a bowl of flaming shite (COVID-19) and then sat there confused when people blamed him for the smell.

Not anymore. Layoffs have really slowed down and many, many businesses brought back their furloughed employees.

Sure there will still be ripple effects for a couple of more months, but the worst is well pass us.

NIH. So you don't care about the stock market? I assume you are young, not smart or just poor. People who have worked hard for decades and saved for decades lost hundred(s) of thousands of dollars in their portfolios due to covid. Some way more than that. They are happy to see 80%+ of that back. I was shitting bricks a month or so ago. So Yeeeaaa, stock market didn't crater and ruin many lives.

If you still don't care, start investing so you can be scared next time too.

Going to be hard to do so when a mob of peaceful protestors are smashing windows every night.
