Being skeptical for all the reasons you mentioned is quite reasonable. I dont "believe" non human entities are here but unlike your position I dont just dismiss the notion or like you and others try to come up with even more outlandish theories like its all a government psy-op.

When you look at the Nimitz encounter.. you've got 3 aircraft taking off a training run tasked with searching for unknown objects that the Princeton was seeing for days on radar going from 80,000 ft to 20,000ft and back up. Crew on the deck also see these object with their eyeballs. Two aircrew encounter something that they see performing seemingly impossible maneuvers and speed. Then the third finds what appears to be the same object 60 miles away and records it. You've got three modes of data collection recording these objects.
It wasnt until some UFO nerds at the pentagon went digging around did this story get released to the public. The mental gymnastics and tech that would have to be involved (that doesnt exist to my knowledge) to coordinate a psy-op is ridiculous. And what.... to perform a psy op on the crew of a carrier strike force crew only to keep it quiet for 13 years? Then release it to the public as another psy op?

I'm not going to argue that Grusch's story doesnt sound crazy. It does. There are a lot of crazy stories out there from folks that say they've heard stuff or seen stuff. What gives me slight pause is he isnt backing down one bit from his story. He infact doubled down yesterday by going under oath and saying he will give names, locations, witness that will be cooperative and non cooperative and will do so soon as members can convene a classified session. So I'm just in wait and see mode.

As far as craft crashing, I just go back to age old adage ..shite happens .

The photo below shows 200,000 stars. This is also about the number of habitable planets we can expect within just 1000 light-years.
We have only had this new understanding since 2020. It’s time to update our expectations.

I don’t understand the people claiming this is some sort of distraction. It’s hardly being covered by the media. Republicans are the ones who asked for the committee hearing due to the whistleblower request. Not sure what it’s distracting people from as the Hunter Biden story received the vast majority of the news coverage.

My favorite are the people who say "how arrogant would you have to be to believe we are the only intelligent beings in the universe?" Im not arrogant. I just understand how science works and how stupid it is to treat unverifiable information as "settled science".

I dont know a single scientist that thinks we are alone in the universe or on the other hand that it "settled science" Its an unknown but given the trillions of galaxies in the observable universe it reasonable speculate the likelihood of life out there is high.

Government psyop is "outlandish"?

For thes events involving the pilots I would say yes its outlandish. As far as Grusch a little less outlandish. But he would not have been out in the position on the UAP task force to hear these claims if not for the events that took place on the Nimits and subsequent leak of their encounter so still its pretty outlandish.

now there were alledged psy ops that took place involving UFO groups that were supposedly infiltrated by Russian spies and the government was alleged to have strung along some folks in order to get the Russian to believe bad info and deflect from current aerospace projects. There a interesting documentary called Mirage Men that you may wantto take a look at.
That I could sort of believe but that is a far different case than involving multiple crew of a carrier strike force...spoofing the radar, their eyeballs, gun cameras, and sensors. Then continuing to do it in 2015.. oh and just by coincidence after the F-18's radar was upgraded and starting detecting objects again in a naval training area.

Just in case anyone wasn't clear about what gaslighting is. This is it.

My thing is if you assume all of this is real, why are the whistleblowers being allowed to testify and give away the deets?

I dont care what whistleblower laws are in place… if the purported secret group that has kept the lid on this for decades did not want the information to come out, these testimonies would not be happening. They have worked outside of the law this entire time, they are not suddenly afraid of the law.

This then leads to 2 logical posibilities.

1)its real info, and they need to get ahead of something big. Start prepping the public zeitgeist so that when whatever is coming becomes public, its not a total and complete shock to the collective psyche. Mass/group psychology is a fascinating indicator of why something happen.

2)the information is partially or completely false. Being released on purpose as a distraction or misdirection of some form.

The point being that there is no scenario in which The Powers That Be are not involved in the release of this information.

This isn't what gaslighting is.

Reverse gaslighting is not a thing. Try and gain some understanding of the language before you try and invent your own terms.

You care to address my points.

Oh by the way: Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is part of a bipartisan group of senators who have offered an amendment to the annual Defense authorization bill requiring the federal government to collect and make public records related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Schuemer is really part of the schizo right ..right. Oh and it was Harry Reid... another schiozo rightwing guy huh.. that secured funding for AAWSAP (later called AATIP) to study this shite in the first place.

Here is my suggestion. Take some time. Study the phenomenon with an open mind. I've been doing it for 40 years. Im still not convinced that we have been visited, but there are some compelling cases. There is a lot of bullshite artist out there and its difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.

A lot of professionals are testifying on UAPs . Not sure the Military Industrial Complex will let the cat out. Trillions are at stake.
Can Corbell get a damn suit!

Legislation passed in the last two years to help whistle blowers come forward along with the formation of the the initial UAP task force and AARO could have at the very least helped creak the door open for anyone wanting to talk. Prior to 2021 it would've been more difficult.

More truth to that than you may " realize"

The word real is derived from royal. What was accepted as truth was what the King deemed it to be (royal decree)

Some speculate that "they' live alongside us typically outside of our perceptions. Our senses acutually filter outer most of base "reality" allowing us evolutionary fitness advantages (reference work of Donald Hoffman). This tradeoff for fitness may now prohibit us from percieving all that is actually around us...

Within our limited construct, what is real is only what can be perceived...
