Your thread title doesn't agree with your link. The link asserts that 50% of the homeless young adults in this country were in foster care, not that 50% of the homeless in this country were in foster care. From everything I've seen, the homeless problem in this country is driven primarily by drug abuse, with mental health issues also a large factor (and it's hard to judge how many of the mental health issues were brought about long term drug abuse).
