On the concept of political legitimacy

Highest inflation in 40 years. Gas averaging over $5 a gallon. Violent criminals running rampant, completely out of control.

But what is the regime's priority? Wall to wall coverage of televised show trials for a handful of Trump supporters who peacefully wandered around the halls of Congress for a few hours--a protest that the media cynically calls "violent" and "deadly" even though the only violent death, that of Ashli Babbitt, came at the hands of the regime's own thug enforcers.

It cannot be said loudly or often enough: the American regime is completely illegitimate. It cannot fulfill the basic functions of government. It cannot provide food or energy security, it cannot provide law and order, indeed it actively and intentionally prevents normal people from being able to provide for their families.

The American regime exists to harm, not to help, the American people. It must be removed from power.
