JFK was born May 29, 1917.

Jimmy Carter was born October 1, 1924.

Bobby Kennedy was born November 20, 1925.

(ETA: - I get it, the "crazy" part - well, consider this part of my "subjective impression of the passage of time series", then.)

On a somewhat related note - the only Presidents older than any previous President (and generally it is only the immediate predecessor unless otherwise noted) are:

Andy Jackson

William Henry Harrison

Zachary Taylor

James Buchanan (who was older than both Fillmore and Pierce, his 2 immediate predecessors)

Andy Johnson

Grover Cleveland

Taft (his predecessor, Teddy R was the youngest man to serve as President)

Woodrow Wilson (the first time it happened twice in a row, and Wilson, like Buchanan, was older than both Teddy and Taft)

LBJ, Nixon and Ford (the troika), while all served in birth order, were all older than JFK (the youngest man elected President, Teddy R became President upon the death of McKinley)

Reagan ( - older than the FIVE previous Presidents)

Bush 42 - Older than Carter by a few months

Bush 44 - Older than Clinton by a few weeks

Trump - older than Bush 44 and Clinton by a few weeks

Biden - older than Clinton, Bush 44 and Trump by ~3.5 to 4 years

Because of presumed demographics of this board, only the real old-timers have any real memory of a JFK Presidency, while most Xers and younger Boomers do not, but many of us do remember Carter and he's still alive.

Being a young Boomer to old Xer I remember Kennedy quite well. I can vividly remember Oswald being shot on TV and JFK's funeral. I also remember this license plate on cars.

A common definition of the Boom is that it ended around the time of the assassination (1946 to 1964), with Gen X almost by definition not overlapping with JFK's lifetime. But, there is a lot of debate over this. Many "younger Boomers" want to be included with the awesomeness that is Generation X and that's fine.

At the rate we're going now, Generation X might not get a President elected from our ranks (hopes are pinned on Desantis, I suppose), while the "Greatest Generation" (broadly 1901 to 1927 which is several more cohorts than typical, but the Depression and WWII are so pinnacle, I let 'em have it) elected no fewer than SEVEN Presidents of these United States.

Hell. I actually remember FDR, but mostly for his death. All other memories were related directly to WWII.
Remember HST during later part of term. Squabbles with mcarthur.
Remember Ike well and was able to vote for RMN v JFK.
Worst POTUS = LBJ. then Obama, Clinton, biden puppeteer.

What's even weirder is that we'll likely never have a POTUS born in the 1930s or 1950s (though the latter is still possible).

CB, don't get offended when I thought of you, "I bet he can remember the war and FDR."

Yeah, the Boomer Presidents have been from a very narrow band, and then Obama.

No wonder you have so much wisdom! You’re older than sliced bread.

Interesting order. No Carter, and you’ve got Clinton as worse than Biden (puppeteer! )??

Surely, Biden didn’t initiate the slide into darkness like LBJ did, but he’s got to rank higher on the suck scale just based on his corruption, much less his woke agenda.

Interesting. Wonder what other generations didn’t get a president.
