The raging mad-dog killer — if this poor dolt is even the person captured in the surveillance footage — planted a bomb that was apparently constructed not to detonate but to simply add an additional chapter to the “insurrection” narrative:

I’m now reading that there will be legal arguments claiming that Trump’s pardon of Jan 6ers also serves as a pardon for the bomber.

Tapper went out of his way to say it was a "White guy" too. Made no difference in the story as the most surprising part is that it turned out to be a black guy. Went from a White chick, which was a surprise too, to a black dude. No one expected anything but a White dude from the start.
If Tapper just went by the name to try to go out of his way to include it being a White guy, he is showing his racism by thinking that no black guy could have a name like 'Brian Cole Jr'

They've more than likely had the info since 2001 and didn't act on it, purposely.
No new evidence was presented, according to the FBI.
They replaced the agents and reworked the case.

Definitely spooks involved... and the "bombs" were props used to exaggerate the seriousness/threat of the "enraged MAGA insurrectionists" doing Trump's insurrectionist bidding.
