I'm a Hispanic. And I make absolutely no apologies for my political views. I have friends and family who don't talk to me anymore because of my outspoken criticism of Hillary Clinton. In their eyes, I'm a traitor to my race for also supporting Trump and for my stance against illegal immigration. But that says more about them than it does me.

I'm only making the point that your skin color shouldn't determine who you vote for. Not in this country and not in 2017.

You calling him a "token" black supporter is demeaning. I don't see him that way. I see him as a Trump supporter who happens to be black and who doesn't buy into the narrative that leftists have been feeding blacks for decades upon decades. I posted this to show that there are black folks who do think for themselves.

I happen to think there are a lot more out there who remain silent for fear of retribution. It's happened to me. I think the best way to combat that is to show that there are plenty of minoroties who don't tow the party line. It will embolden others to speak up. This is another purpose for the OP.

We should all be free to openly express our political opinions without being marginalized like, for instance, being called a token black Trumper, or in my case, a token Hispanic Trumper.

My views are my views. My race has nothing to do with it. Logic does. I'm sure it's the same way with the man in the video.
