Obama response to Ukraine vs other countries...

Let's see here....
Iranian Green Revolution- pro westerners (or at least more moderate), hung out to dry by Obama
Ukrainian Protestors- pro westerners, hung out to dry by Obama
Syria conflict- Obama threatens military action to defend Al Qaeda elements in Syrian civil war
Egypt conflict- Obama urges Mubarak be overthrown as Muslims protest.
Notice a trend here? Seems like Obama is only interesting in helping Muslims, mostly anti-American ones, overseas. It is a shame, time and time again, to see allies like Poland get thrown under the bus and to see pro-western factions in other countries get no support from this administration. It appears to be clear where Obama's loyalties lie.

It's a rare day when I defend Obama on any point -- but today is the day I suppose.
Iran? What we're we going to do there? Invade? We had zero pull, and no card to play. Besides, the pro-western elements in society are a small minority.
Ukraine? We've been egging the protesters on for months. We've been working with the EU to wrest Kiev from the Russian sphere.
I think it's dangerous, but the administration seems pretty keen on it.
To your points about Egypt and Syria. I would agree, we've bungled both to the detriment of American interests.

...honestly...has there ever been any doubt? It has been clear from the beginning where this arse clown's loyalties are....he is Anti-American...Anti-Western European....and definitely pro Muslim. But, by all means...He's not a Muslim...Wright?? Jeremiah??

I'm pretty sure Obama is atheist, nothing wrong with that. But he clearly identifies more with anti-American sentiment and Muslims more than other religions.

Who cares about his religion? Thats his personal choice. It's politics. and if he is so pro Muslim, I don't see him aiding the Chechnya rebels in Russia or the Uighurs in China.

well he ran his campaign saying he was Christian, so obviously he felt a bunch of people care

Didn't mean for this to get into a debate about Obama's religion.
Also, I'm not saying America should take a more hawkish or dovish approach to foreign affairs.
However, it's clear that Obama's approach to foreign affairs is to support elements that harm America's best interest and to abandon our long standing allies.

Bozo is a limp dicked MOFO in this situation, he has absolutely no street cred in the matter.

our involement in the middle east isnt becauase hes muslim or pro muslim. That logic would make GWB pro muslim (iraq/aghanistan).
The more logical reason is the middle east directly affects our national security. Ukraine? not so much.

His "red-lines" are a joke on the international front at the expense of our foreign policy.

This joke stopped being funny a long time ago. GTFO of our White House!

Face it he was democratically elected. In America we get the government we choose sometimes. and here it is.

This isn't just an Obama thing. Look at Bosnia and Kosovo.

He supports pot legalization. He would always have my vote just for that. I'd give him 4 more years if it was possible.

Fair enough. Never thought I'd say this, but even Hillary Clinton would be a vast improvement over Obama at this point. So at least either way in 2016 there will be a more effective leader at the helm. Maybe she wouldn't have left those men in Benghazi to die if she was calling the shots.

jackass should just shut his mouth, we don't need to get involved.

Appears that the country was protesting and the country is Muslim.

Yes, the US isn't getting involved in any meaningful way.

When did Poland get thrown under the bus?

Stop with the Neo-con talking points
What makes you think the US or Obama is personally responsible for the Ukraine's domestic politics?
Neo-con Hawkishness has already gotten us involved in a multi trillion dollar wars (Iraq/Afghanistan). No more.

Poland got thrown under the bus a few years ago when we abandoned our plan to put missile defenses in there. For Ukraine and Iran, we either need to say nothing or mean what we say. No more red lines threatened and then no consequences. More than that, what is missing is an American defense of liberty and democracy. Just imagine what Reagan would be saying if he was president and this crap was going down in the Ukraine. A real leader like Reagan could put on enough pressure through diplomatic means to get the Russians to back off. Putin knows he owns Obama and can have free rein anywhere in Eastern Europe.
