Moron, I was speaking to your implied claim that if something is legal like posting someone's address for any reason whatsoever, its morally ok to do.
yeah. Except they didn't publish his address. So there's that.

You're such a smug a-hole, they could say he lives in the third house on the left , or the house immediately after 201 Main Street and you'd still be arguing that it's all ok because they didn't report his address

They didn't

Do you have any reality based arguments to make?

The Times removed a picture of his wedding license for fear that it did show his address. Turns out that it didn't. But they still removed it. Why?

It was the address of a law firm. I imagine they gave the Times a call.

The law firm is public record. Why would the Times remove it?

Along with the content of the article, the paper included a picture of Wilson and Spradling's marriage license. While the image included an address, that address was not the Crestwood house formerly occupied by the couple; it was the address of a law firm in nearby Clayton, Missouri.

Probably the law firm didn't want to be harassed by illiterates who mistakenly believed it was Wilson's home address, and they gave the Times a call. Or the Times lawyers suggested it should be removed before the law firm in question gave them a call.

Welp without saying any more, Times may be fricked. They removed the picture for a reason. That will probably come out eventually. Sometime after the settlement, I'd guess.

What else would a marriage license contain?

Names of witnesses to the license, and the name of the officiant. It would be irresponsible to publish those names and associate them with Wilson if they aren't already widely known to the public. The best man's signature, for instance, may be on it - and if he isn't already widely known to be an associate of Wilson's, that would make it known.

Its either that or the law firms address was a problem and they decided to just yank the entire license.

Obviously the Times already knew the address on it wasn't Wilson's because they published the name of his street.
