I listened to the local PBS station for years a long time ago. It moved so far left I had to turn it off...that was a long time before Trump even went into politics.

I agree I don't listen either but if people think they are killing NPR by these cuts they are not. That's my point. NPR only gets like 2% of its funding from the gov.
They do get a ton from the local stations who get money from the gov. If enough local stations off the air NPR may see more of an impact.
Most local stations only use NPR for 30-40% of their programing. What's being cut is effectively the other 60-70% of the local programing. Things like ag-reports or local gardening shows etc.
