Maybe I missed it, but it seems like the right thing to do to get out in front of the talking points ahead of the midterms.

It was actually tragic what happened, but at the end of the day, don't be a frickin dumbass and you would still be alive. If you're going to carry, have your ID and permit on your person. If you're carrying at a protest and the cops approach you, put your fricking hands behind your head and inform them you are carrying. Do NOT resist arrest while in possession of a firearm. Your changes of being shot go up by like infinity. And nothing will happen to the cop who shot you, nor should it.

As well they should.

Examine all the facts and determine if it was a clean shoot or a bad shoot.

How often does the DOJ open a Civil Rights investigation into office involved shootings, where the "victim" was armed?

Reality: there will always be an investigation when a young black doctor in the prime of his life is gunned down by the government

I’d welcome s quick investigation about what this guy had been going weeks before he was shot.

It seems he was actively trying to impede federal officers in carrying out their duties and went too far.
