Marines with a medical exemption from shaving for painful skin disorders must have their condition reexamined within 90 days, according to a new administrative order that comes after the initiation of a broader Pentagon review on grooming standards. The Marine directive, issued Thursday, also said troops diagnosed with the skin condition known as pseudofolliculitis barbae could be separated from the service if grooming exceptions are needed beyond one year. Under such a scenario, a Marine “may be considered for administrative separation due to incompatibility with Service,” the order stated.
here's the actual MARADMIN

"Unfortunately, the U.S. military's high standards on body composition and other metrics eroded in recent years, particularly during the tenure of former Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley, who set a bad example from the top through his own personal corpulence," Ullyot said in a statement provided to Military.com on Thursday.
Calling Milley a fat frick in their release is cake.

Remember when you tried to pretend 3/23 has never trained at Lejeune, then I showed you how 3/23 trains at Lejeune all the time?
Good times.
Good times.

Don’t try to get out of being dragged over the most basic thing. You’re the one who calls everyone out yet you always put your foot in your mouth because you believe you’re the subject matter expert for everything.

there's no reason that SEALS or any spec-ops community should have relaxed grooming standards when it isnt directly related to the mission.
if not shaving is mission essential, it's allowed case by case basis. but ultimately the standard is to be clean shaven.

which makes sense and is how it should be in my opinion.
that said a handful of spec ops dudes running around with beards isnt really as damaging as a two-standard system at a line unit where select troops are allowed to get away with the same thing that the others get in trouble for.
