Population: 2,095,000

Tests: 12,527 (0.6% of tot pop)

Positives: 281 (2.2% of tested)

Deaths: 4 (1.4% of positives, 0.003% of tested)

Average age: (90+70+70+80)/4 = 78

Underlying conditions: 4/4 = 100%

local New Mexico article

I'm sure there is variance between states but it would be interesting to see what these numbers are for each.

The total # tested seems to be a hard stat to find.

Are we supposed to guess your state or do we have to open the link to find it.

The 'underlying conditions' thing is a joke: everybody's got some kind of underlying condition. High bp? Check. Diabetes? Check. Smoker? Check. Cancer now or ever? Check. Asthma? Check. Lupus? Check. Any type of heart issues? Check. Chronic lung disease? Check. I have yet to meet a perfectly healthy person, whatever that means.

My parents are both 70. They take no meds and are skinny

Being 70 (age) is an underlying condition.

My state:

Ages of patients that tested positive as of tonight:

Younger than 10: 0 percent
10-19: 1 percent
20-29: 13 percent
30-39: 15 percent
40-49: 17 percent
50-59: 18 percent
60-69: 20 percent
70-79: 10 percent
80-89: 4 percent
90+: 1 percent

15,856 tests performed
1,283 confirmed
24 deaths - all older ages with prior health problems.

It's a drunk, smoke, fat state so I'm not surpsied by the numbers.
