Fewer and fewer people believe what they hear and read. Because for the most part it is just blatant lies. I would prefer to get the facts without the writer trying to influence my opinion by using his opinion as fact. I lament that those days are long gone. Unfortunately there are still those American voters who believe whatever bullshite they read or hear without checking it out or using their brain. I hope there are not enough of them out there to influence the vote. Biden changed border policy and created this debacle and now he blames Trump. Biden financial bribe scams are well documented and yet they say there is no proof. The economy is doing great inflation is under wraps. Then i go to Krogers and I know it ain't so.
quote:

According to Mark Twain, “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know that ain’t so.”
Should I believe my lying eyes?

I watch none of it. Certain YouTube podcasts, Rumble, this place has a lot of good links posted, and a few web sites.

It's not just the leftist MSM, though.

You think Rogan, Carlson and OAN is just straight news with no editorializing or selectivism in how things are reported.

None of that stuff is simple straight, no slant/selective fact reporting. People just have to try to sift through it all to inform themselves as much as possible, though most don't take that time. They just go with whatever echos their personal bias on an issue, fact or not.
