Heat from electric motors and batteries can be greatly reduced by a cooling system.

This is accurate, but the cooling systems add significant weight, and that is always an issue of concern with airborne objects. That's not my area of expertise by any means, admittedly, but I am familiar with it. Most of the stuff I monitor is air cooled, but I've done work in a couple of our facilities where more advanced thermoregulation is present.

Very well could be, though. It's a balancing act for sure. If these are electric motor, propeller driven craft with advanced lightweight temperature regulation systems, it all but certainly eliminates every possible source other than government/military. Well, at least from what I know, anyway.

Doesn’t matter the heat signature as it can be masked pretty easily.

Source myself. I used to be a FLIR “train the trainer” as in I trained others how to be me, a trainer. Mostly foreign military through the DOS fms (foreign military sales). Then worked with others as a contractor.

Most of my info on this is for masking heat sig FROM drones, and gogs using heat reflective materials. Or for IR proofing a room, etc.
So I'm honestly asking about other methods, which wouldn't require containing the heat. If such exists. I know of the cooling suits, but I can't see somebody putting that kind of tech into so many of these.

That made me think of the scene from the Encounters movie. Where the ship had the lights and tones that were flashing and sounding as a message.
