I agree that judges should not sit on the court forever. There should not be a law against a lifelong term, but they should realize when to retire.
How they interpret the law is more and more political. It really seems worse since Clarence Thomas.
Ginsburg, Kennedy, and Breyer should have retired at least 10 years ago.

There absolutely IS a process, Supreme Court Justices can be impeached, as can all federal judges, and in fact all federally elected officials. It's the same exact process as for the POTUS, the House must impeach and the if the Senate convicts, they're out.

William O. Douglas was a liberal hero on the court, and he had to be propped up and have drool wiped from his chin.
