The problem is, why should the press cover ANYONE if they aren't going to cover everyone.

Why or what legitimacy will the press have to ever ask or demand ANY straight answers from a republican president ?

They should rightly be told to go to hell, government enquiry is none of your business.

Obama didn't answer, neither will we, now kiss our azz while the president signs executive orders.

Did anyone know that Obama went to a church for 22 years where the pastor is vehemently anti American, that Obama was in communist organizations in college, and was friends with a terrorist bomber? I'm sure all of this was brought up in drawn out detail before Obama's first run for president? It wasn't? That's odd!

OK, so the media are now all over Christie for allegedly telling the mayor of Hoboken to do what he wants or her town won't get the recovery money.

How is that any different than the IRS going after conservative groups who were clearly not in Obama's corner? Where was the media outrage then?

The IRS offense is way more egregious being it was done at a federal level and to a much wider audience.

The only difference is the size, but both acts are the same.

No they aren't the same. One was used to violate the civil rights of dissenting political opinions in an attempt to silence them.

The other made traffic worse for an already shitty traffic area.

We were talking about the withholding of relief money.

There you go again. Bearing false witness. I'd say you break that commandment about at least 100 x times more than the average gay man has sex.

If I had your beliefs, I'd be loading up on SPF 666 sun screen.

Just sayin.

It is alleged there were threats to withhold the relief money, but was it withheld? Were all the conditions met for relief money that was requested? Can't have money doled out without all the i's dotted and t's crossed, or the stewards would be acting irresponsibly.

This reminds me of the accusations against George W. Bush following Katrina. He was accused of specifically withholding assistance to Louisiana for political purposes while providing it to Alabama, Mississippi and Texas. Only later did we learn that Louisiana's request for assistance by then Governor Blanco was not in compliance with the laws in existence at the time. I'll wait for more information to come out before I conclude whether Christie did anything wrong.

Why are Christie's people being accused of horrible acts when they used a crisis for political advantage? Isn't that the modus operandi of a certain advisor to President Obama?

If you say this was done by the Media, you are the one lying. And your very warped idea of what sends a person to hell or not is simply embarrassing.

No to your question and to your statement. I've told you before that I don't believe in hell. I only repeat your warped view of what sends a person to hell. You quite frequently bear false witness as in fact you just did. That's one of the 10 commandments you broke here and do on a daily basis.

There's never been a thread re homosexuality where you haven't chimed in, yet you break this bear false witness commandment every single day.

You might be better off worrying about your own sins if what you believe re the afterlife is true.

Just sayin.
