It would be great if the Republican voters did what the party wanted them to do which was to turn in their votes on election day not before.

the trouble with your statement is that various states allow or require big differences.
when mail must arrive.
how many pre date days there are.
so there's no one correct most effective republican advice or tactic.

If all of Lake's poll watchers stay, no.

If they go home, we'll be done by the end of the day.

At 51-49 Manchin's vote with the Rs would mean nothing because the tie is broken by Heels Up.

Every vote that is 50-49 without Manchin, will end up 50/50 with Manchin voting with the GOP. He would have permission from his masters to vote with Republicans in an effort to save his arse next election.

I just did a search for your question.
I see one guy saying they will still be counting "into next week".

so based on that:
whether they work on holiday overtime or wait until Monday its going to be next week before we may know who won. its likely to be so close as to require a RECOUNT. how long will the recount take? another couple weeks?

Save for Jan 6th and Dobbs, the red wave would have been epic. Thanks a lot to the idiots who stormed the Capitol. And to the Supreme Court, could you have not waited until November 9th??? I think we would have still swept even with Jan. 6th. But those 2 things did us in.

U have to agree as a fellow American this should never happen. Brazil counted the whole country on same day of voting. Politicians have to much power. We the people or becoming their pawns.

Bless your heart if you believe any of that you are saying. Hope you are Auburn fan and not LSU.

No they couldn't

That case came before them in the last session and the decision had to be released before the session ended back in the Spring

They will discover that it was a Democrat that leaked the verdict.

Also if the Judge made the college loan reversal before the election it would have helped the Republicans.

There may be some truth to Dobbs, not Jan 6. Everything I've been seeing is that the young person turnout was much less than 2020. The fundamental thing that is preventing red waves is a totally fricked drop-box and mail-in ballot system in states like PA, AZ, NV and elsewhere.

There is still a lot to digest about the election results overall. The map is red except on the upper northeast, NM, the entire west coast and sprinkles in the upper mid-west. The pubs need to up their ground game and out-ballot harvest the dims in targeted vulnerable districts.

There are 255,000 uncounted early ballots in Maricopa County. Why are Republicans anticipating that these will break their way? Because 68% of these are in Republican leaning Legislative Districts and they were dropped off on election day rather than mailed which Trump won in '20

The county has been using a first in first out method to release early ballots, meaning as they move through batches they will become more favorable for Republicans as they start counting votes from suburbs and exurbs further away from the Downtown PHX MCTEC center.

Republicans should tamper expectations on tonight's drop, as they have not quite exhausted the less favorable areas near the MCTEC center- but from Sunday onward, expect all Republicans in Maricopa County to begin making steps forward.

I just checked out the NYT tracker and I see some more ballots dropped in AZ.

And Lake lost more ground.
