Nazism is a form of socialism . It has nothing to do with race

Why can't it be both?

The Democrats are definitionally racist

Look at affirmative action, that's a racist program.

And their whole appeal is built around race, they define themselves as party of racial minorities that have been oppressed by the "white race."

I think the takeaway is that we should think like they do, because our current attitude amounts to unilateral disarmament. And the next time someone says you can't advocate for yourself, when they call you racist, just tell them you don't care.

Racism was pretty tied into Nazism. The main pillar of Nazism was Aryan supremacy (which you can debate if Aryan ethnicity is made up) and the idea of building a dominant Aryan state with either the subservience or removal of members of unfavorable groups.

Let me clarify. The party certainly has racist elements.
The origin of the movement was not so much about race as it was protecting workers. Out of that came an element of racism which was amped up by Hitler who inserted the Arian aspect to the movement. He took it to another level. He wasn’t solely focused on protectionism but became focused on a superior race.

Before that they fought against big business and bankers which happened to be mostly run and controlled by the Jews.
It was a quasi union movement with strong nationalist element.

That naturally meant that immigrants were not welcome. That wasn’t so much meant to be racist or xenophobic as it was just protectionist.

It morphed into a racial movement with heavy emphasis on Jews since they were running big business and banks
