No. That graphic is misleading. Their models have it playing out that way as a possible but not likely scenario but that's not their ultimate prediction. I do think this sort of model is flawed.
The senate projects should be more accurate because it bakes in fewer outliers.

I am libertarian so I have no dog in this fight. The average American has lost a lot due to covid lockdowns and the reactions. People don't want to say that, but they will show it with their voting. You are called a grandma killer for simply wanting to work your job and live your life. Riots are called peaceful protests and are ok, have no risk of spreading covid, while going to a funeral/church/school is forbidden and wrong. You will be surprised in November by trump winning again but I won't. Him recovering from covid will be the turning point we need to move on with our lives. A greater percentage of the population died in the 1957 and 1968 flu global pandemics, but this is the end of the world? No a virus with a 99.63% survival rate is not worth all the damage that has been done.
