Yep.

I think it has to do with the music industry and some of the darker spirited people from New York and California who have come to town.
I am not sure how much is has to do with that. Nashville is just a much, much seedier, and fricked up place than people who haven't lived there or visited a lot realize. The mass gentrification of bad parts of town by mostly liberal-minded, well-off transplants who don't believe in a strong justice system, and believe that victims of circumstance or upbringing deserve a pass are easy pickins for the large populace of criminals in the city, mostly with impunity, of course, due to who/what these transplants vote for. Plenty of organized crime. A lot of weirdos with bad intentions. Not really sure any of that has to do with school shootings, but it could.

Considering the school, very high probability it's gang related.

Have you heard what they have done to country music? No in all seriousness Antioch has become not the best part of town, could be many different reasons for this happening

Great summary. Moved 3 years ago after living there for 22 years. The city completely changed out from under me.

Gangs galore. The school where the shooting took place is in an area with a lot of illegals and ultra leftist types. One of those ultra leftists is a juvenile court Judge who is extremely lenient even with the most violent offenders.

Story has a 90% chance of becoming a fart in the wind.
Higher than that... This is the same town that had a church shooting several years ago. Don't remember it? Probably a reason...

There's 1652 guitar pickers in Nashville and anyone that unpacks his guitar can play twice as better than I will.

Antioch
Wasn't that the town where a guy shot up a church? It was splashed all over the media until they found out it was a Black shooter? It happened on a Sunday and by Monday it was no where to be found in the media...

Antioch had the church shooter and the Waffle House shooter. It is one of the worst areas of Nashville. I had a friend who worked at Antioch Middle for a few years, and they were on lockdown constantly.

That was a wild one. Dude had a crazy obsession with Taylor Swift. Told people he'd planned to marry her, and really believed it, even though he claimed to be gay. Then he believed that Swift was stalking him and hacking his phone.

This is why I think Southerners need to be very hesitant about celebrating the ongoing population boom.
My in-laws live in Charlotte and it may as well be suburban Detroit.
You’re never getting back what you once had.

LA (Lower Antioch) Social Club RIP
used to call over there an hour before lunch to tell them how many hamburgers we wanted so they could go buy the ground beef.
i moved to nashville in 1996 and its nothing today like it was then. i had zero fear; would ride my bike through any part of town in the middle of the night, go anywhere, you would sometimes go weeks without a report of a violent crime in the newspaper...
*sigh*
