I am pointing out the glaring double standard. If I ran the XYZ Widget Co.and was approached to buy TV ad time for the Grammys or Golden Globes, and decided against it because I did not like the political crap that goes on there, I would be under assault in short order.

My right to do business with who I please would not matter, like it evidently does in this case.

Is it, though?

Do you want to live in a country where ANYONE can tell you how to operate your business?

Is it a charity or a pharmaceutical company?

If a company they know Blacks are the greatest market for diabetes so it makes some sense, not that the consumer generally gets to influence what Medicaid prescribes and authorizes.

If a charity, Blacks donate about as frequently as they tip, so it doesn't make much sense at all.

If I get morbidly obese I'll take my business elsewhere.

Are you blind? Do you not see what the left is doing? I mean the all out war on the past election and conservatives are doing what they have always done. Hold their noses and act as if they are above the fray while being pulled into that fray like it or not.

You are seeing everywhere an all out assault on conservative speech. An all out attack on being white for Pete's sake.

And people like you sit back and say well so long as it's within the system .... oh well while they are changing the system.

Not necessarily, but on the other hand I don't want to live in a country where businesses get to own slaves because they aren't the government either. Like I said, it's a complicated issue.

It's a double standard we've all agreed to, because regulating that double standard would mean something other than capitalism.

Though I feel like you're example is terrible, I do understand what you're saying. No need to keep repeating it.

In your example above, who is infringing upon your right to do business with who you please?

Please, Just please. My company would be under attack by the media, on social media and on the network late night shows in short order. The pressure would be enormous not to do business with me in an organized and orchestrated campaign to destroy my company.

I don't think most black people would be outraged agaisnt a man for what his father said or did. It's white leftists that stir this supposed outrage and threaten boycotts.

Why is Lily required to give a nascar driver a sponsorship? Who requires it? Who enforces it?

Not the damn point. If they want that right... fine. But we have a right to stand up and say stop the madness and to use the same system. That's the issue.

The lack of action by conservatives when things like this happen results in it goibg unchecked and grows until that issue is lost.

Then you hide behind it again when you are told about the new attacks.

That's the issue.

A man just lost money due to a comment he didnt even make. And you are hiding because it's not your fight and its their right.... as if you had no voice, no rights, and no balls or spine!

I don't see an issue.

They have the right to do what they did. You have the right to disagree and use the system to vote with your wallet.

Sky screaming isn't going to change anything.

Are you seriously saying they are not wrong for pulling a sponsorship over something that he did not say himself??

Wow!

You act as if capitalism is a one way street.

Get off your arse and stop getting walked over on a daily basis.

I'm saying only the business in question knows whether or not the decision was the correct one financially.

Saying you KNOW it's wrong, is just plain false.

So what you're saying is that the media is infringing upon your rights?

Or is it the people who buy your product who would no longer do business with people THEY want?

What does this have to do with conservatives or liberals? A company chose to terminate their one-week contract with a driver that’s never raced a NASCAR race.

That's not why they pulled so you have no point.

Yea! Take action by starting threads on message boards like JJdoc here then ranting about shite in vague and incoherent terms!

No, not remotely complicated. The Bill of Rights limits the actions of the federal government. The Civil War Amendments apply to individuals as well
