Can you direct me to where hearsay negates a whistle blower claim? I'd like to learn more about this.
I'm not googling it for you.

this may be good news, the whistleblower is going to have to release his source. May be able to get rid of a lot of rats.

In court a person just hearing something but had no evidence, was not present would be told by the judge to get boff the stand. Because this now rises to the level of gossip. It does not matter that this person is in the IC and would be in a position to know, if this person does not have the transcript, does not have a recording and was not there, it is extremely prejudicial as testimony, etc. You're not a whistleblower, you're The Star

I have and I don't think it does negate it. That's why I'm asking.

This isn't a court of law. The IG has a duty to investigate the claim and determine if the claim is credible and urgent- which he did determine. I don't see how hearsay is relevant at that point.

Then why doesn't he testify? what the frick is the point trotting out someone with second hand knowledge? even when an unredacted transcript is literally being released....

He's supposed to this Thursday I believe.

Him testifying makes a world more sense and credibility than the whistleblower.
That person is literally useless now that the transcript is being released.
That person is literally useless now that the transcript is being released.
