Nadler schedules vote on procedures for impeachment probe

Today is a very good day.
The head of the House Judiciary Committee announced Monday that the panel will vote this week to formalize procedures for hearings as it seeks to determine whether to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump.
Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler
(D-N.Y.) said the committee will vote Thursday on a resolution that would solidify several key policies.
Among them, the panel's staff would be allowed to question witnesses for an additional hour -- split equally between majority and minority -- after each committee member goes through their five-minute line of questioning.
Judiciary's subcommittees would also be able hold hearings as part of the probe, paving a way for Nadler to punt less-important witnesses down the line and save time.
The Democrats would also allow Trump's legal counsel to respond in writing to evidence and testimony presented to the committee.

"Trump’s crimes and corruption extend beyond what is detailed in the Mueller report," Nadler said. "The President is in violation of the emoluments clauses of the Constitution as he works to enrich himself, putting the safety and security of our Nation at risk. He has dangled pardons, been involved in campaign finance violations and stonewalled Congress across the board, noting that he will defy all subpoenas."

They have to vote to see if it's OK to hold a vote to start the preparation for a vote to investigate whether an impeachment vote is necessary. The whole game is designed to last till election day.

We should demand our money be paid back for honest Bob's report AND the high retainer fees Comey's BFF lawfare blogger pals are getting.
They are dying to question people and get a gotcha. In their blindful arrogant ignorance-- they think they will.
Who is up first, Stormy? She has said she didn't have an affair with Trump, CPL was collecting money.

Love it. Let these idiots hang themselves going against one of the best presidents we've ever had. Brilliant move.

Looks like this is the next dead end they will head down, "Violations of the emoluments clauses"
They don't want to actually govern and just spend all their time trying to bring down the President. They need something to talk about so that they can pivot once the IG report comes out.

I read that Nadler or was it Cummings demanded an investigation of the military into their people flying with Trump staying at Trump's resorts.

This is getting ridiculous. Trump went to Scotland. They are all going to stay where he does.
The Clinton's, Bush's, and Obama's did the same thing accept their high end places weren't owned by them.
