Any Marines out there know how Mattis got a BSM-V? Seems very fishy when you look into it. Not doubting it, but can't find anything on it.

Obama most likely wanted Petraeus to go away and STFU like he did Flynn. At the time I wouldn't doubt they put classified info on his lover's computer.

Interesting. Petraeus got his CAB by IDF and never really saw action. Somehow he received a BSM-V as a 2 star. He was ridiculed for it years ago.

I never understood why it needs to be so large. Broadening assignment for field grades to run errands for Generals? Seems like with the ability to communicate over VTC, we could cut a lot of chaff of that place.
