Multiple Vaccination sites set up today at the park that nobody used

On Thursdays there is a park here I go to run at because it has a nice loop and the Southern Nevada Health Department came to set up multiple vaccine stations around the park. I ran for about 45 minutes and didn't see a single person come by to get vaccinated, despite the people running it asking every single person who ran or walked by if they wanted the vaccine(including me), and they packed their things up and left. Apparently they were supposed to be there all day but left by around 11am. I guess they didn't want to sit out in the heat wasting their time.

This led me to think - the media is really trying to push a narrative that the overwhelming majority of the public has an unquenchable thirst for the vaccine and the reason they aren't getting vaccinated is because its just too inaccessible. No one knows what to do or how to get one. We just need to run more PSAs, set up more vaccination sites, and have more celebrities encourge people to get vaccinated.

Well if my anecdotal story today is any evidence I think it disproves that media narrative wrong. Maybe, just maybe, people simply do not want to get the vaccine.

The governor yesterday, Pissolak(Moron-NV) said he wants 70% of Nevadans vaccinated. Good luck with that because it isn't happening. Only at 30% right now and I'd imagine the number of people who want to be vaccinated at this point, but haven't, is very low. Definitely not enough to generate anywhere close to the remaining 40%.
