I completely agree.
And your experiences (in CA and TX) intrigue me.

I was referring to a democratically held referendum/vote.

Your comment didn't look anything like that.

But, okay, simple majority? If there is one more red person than blue, all those blue people have to GTFO just because they have differing opinions?

That’s a chilling proposition.

Indeed.

Cant argue against that. Hardline social conservatives kinda suck.

I think national divorce sounds a little harsh. I'm thinking more like "completing the national banquet". Whoever hangs around for dessert and coffee gets stuck with the check.

Actually not a lot of sucking happening at all.

Mea culpa.
I didn’t intend for it to look the way you interpreted it.
Thank you for allowing me to clarify my statement.

That’s how democracy works.
I regularly disagree with local election outcomes in my city.
It’s ultimately up to me to decide how much said results affect my life decisions.

Without getting too far into it, i worked for a time at a manufacturing company in Downey, best known as the birthplace of the angelic-voiced Karen Carpenter.. and i believe it’s the location of the first McDonald’s as well, but i digest :-) …. Anyway, iirc it was only a 30-40 min drive inland from Santa Monica, Venice and the ocean.. but most of the people who worked there and at all the surrounding businesses were most definitely ‘baws’.. they’d come to work every day in jacked up trucks and Hummers (which were popular back then) , blaring country music and on the weekends they’d bring their toys out to the dessert and go four wheeling and dirt biking.. not really my scene , but they were good guys- and definitely not a minority in CA as some might think .

In TX, i lived in Houston but worked all over the state, and even in TX, the reddest state in the Land- there were way too many people from all over the political spectrum to ever make a national divorce (or a Texas secession) ever be feasible .

I agree with her in a way but it’s not as simple as a state by state issue. Some of the states that are blue/purple have 80-90% red counties.

100% ^^^^ fact.

The Dims/Groomers invented the “safe space” crapola, maybe there could be several designated “safe space” cities where the Groomer lunatics can find comfort but they only have political power in their “safe space” cities/counties? Allow the vast majority of Americans to preserve the constitutional republic and the Groomers can enjoy their Woke Utopia cities.

they’re not giving up red states, freely.

“They” hate states like mine and trumpet such claims on the reg. Not sure why they’ll mind our residents voting in a referendum to separate ourselves. You’d think they’d be glad.

The Groomers believe in time they will conquer the constitutional republic by infesting every major institution and eventually infesting every state…….they certainly have been encouraged to believe this notion over the past 15 years.

The blue states she wants to cut contribute the majority of GDP in the country. I’m not sure she understands the consequences of this.

My "side" doesn't beg for handouts.

I'm sorry you can't count higher than 2.

But your side seems to be the one that says: "If you don't like it, leave it! "

...But it also says: "I don't like it, so you have to leave it. "
