Look lady, the vast majority of Twatter users don't like you.
It's not going anywhere. Conservatives like you already aren't using the platform.

There is noone that will appease the left.
This is about those on the right.
The problem with the Tea Party wasn't what they stood for, it was that those who projected leadership couldn't lead their way out of a wet paper bag.
The right continues to elevate the "loudest" to positions of leadership, not those who are the best leaders.
This is why so many rank and file Republicans like DeSantis. He projects actual leadership qualities, not just running his mouth.

Twatter isn’t going anywhere.
Like it or not, it’s part of our society now.
It may face competition and there may be legitimate alternatives ahead but it will stay in the thick of things.

Like Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy?

Cabal has nothing to do with it. It's an addiction. We have a nation of social media junkies and "content creators" selling them their next hit.
I hear ya on the massive Serotonin addiction to mob social media Virtue-Signaling, Thumbs-Ups, and Amen-ing; But why can't there be simultaneous phenomena going on?
The Cabal are the authorities who created our entire Prussian-based public "education" and behavior system. This system is imprinted and pre-programmed on all of us from K-12; The problem: This system has prioritized and rewarded group Drone-Obedience OVER Independent Critical-Thinking to begin with. So...We shouldn't be that surprised that Twitter would create one massive obnoxious drone circle-jerk for the most part?
The Twitter Universe collective has become a repository for Serotonin hits, replacing the teacher's "Good answer, Johnny!" and group hi-fives. Opinions seen as obedient to the Borg collective of virtue signalers is self-validation in their Mob echo-chamber universe. (Insanity is rewarded).

All of us on this site are no different. Like a couple of drinks a week, some can use it responsibly. Most cannot.
Valid point in a way -- but the number and degree of sanity here as opposed to Twitter-verse isn't remotely comparable IMO. At least most here can (though not always obviously) eventually sense when a thread becomes "a mob" -- and ratchet down the piling on (far more self-awareness; NOT nearly as much a insane echo-chamber as Twitter).

She's right though it may not be that late in the day. Twitter needs open back and forth on politics to feed off of the energies both positive and negative.
Their ham handed leftist bias is fostering alternate forums for discourse that will be open to real debate. They will grow as Twitter becomes another Air America like source.

The only thing Twitter is good for is convincing the fringe that their views are more popular than they are.

Is it really doing that or are we just now getting "Right" versions of Twitter?
I'm one who actually laments the loss of some of these platforms as "open forums" for all ideas and feel like some of these things performed nothing but the biggest bait and switch ever.

What?
McCarthy and McConnell are in leadership of the Republican Party.
And they’re not the loudest and they’re not the best leaders.

The moment you give in to the propaganda, they win.
Absolutely. I don’t have any issue with taking the fight to them. It’s necessary and they sure as heck aren’t shy about putting us on the defensive. I only want us to pick our fights wisely and to be sure to set the narrative before they can. The advantage they carry in the media makes that quite the challenge for us. It takes a highly disciplined messenger to stay on point and drive home the messages that need to be heard without being distracted or sounding like they are way out there in the fringe. I love how Trump fought, but he fought too much and it was able to be used against him in the end courtesy of the media. His missteps (both manipulated and self inflicted) were used against the republicans and worse than that it was used to disparage you and I. We became klan members and neo Nazis for God’s sake. MTG falls into that same trap and she will be used against republicans in the midterms. She can be good for fundraising with the red meat (but that’s a double edged sword as the dems will use it too) and she was able to shine the light on how Covid has been used to destroy freedoms as she did with her last few tweets which were pretty spot on. Stick to those things and she’s okay.

I said the right... not the Republicans in Congress
But you are correct in that those two are neither the loudest or the best leaders.
So... it's even worse. At least MTG is good at something... even if it's something we don't need.

on TD quit linking Twitter.
This. I will no longer be guilty of clicking on a Twitter link here. Twitter links are now in the same bucket as CNN, MSN, etc. I don't click on them or furnish them, either.
