MSM says: Trump’s stalled infrastructure plans leaves these roads a mess

Inquiring minds want to know why Nobama did nothing to fix these roads while he was in office. Remember his "shovel" ready jobs that he admitted were NOT shovel ready? This study covered 7 years of NObama's presidency and one year of Trump's, but this is all Trump's fault.
If the previous administration had a plan, many of these roads would be fixed by now.

The shoddy shape of America’s roadway infrastructure will continue until President Trump’s Infrastructure Week finally happens.
In the meantime, drivers in Rhode Island should beware: The Ocean State has the highest percentage of public roads in “poor” condition, according to a new report from Transportation for America. Only 11% of Rhode Island’s roads are considered to be in “good” condition.
The study looked at road conditions across the U.S. between 2009 and 2017. During that time, “the percentage of the roads nationwide in poor condition increased from 14 to 20%.” In total, 37 states saw a worsening in the condition of its roads.
If the previous administration had a plan, many of these roads would be fixed by now.

Sounds like STATE level issues for the most part.

Where did that almost 1 Trillion go that Obama spent on Shovel ready jobs? Where’s our damn Media?????

The only kind of infrastructure Trump should work on is through interstate corridors, laying the foundations for future rail, utilities, and express lanes via public, private partnerships. I don’t give a frick about Rhode Island’s roads except for I-95. If 89% of roads in the whole state are in shitty condition, the federal government isn’t to blame, and it isn’t for the federal government to fix.

That is way better than the .11% of roads in Louisiana that are considered in good condition.
Our new state motto for travelers should be: come to Louisiana and you’ll be visiting a mechanic shop sooner or later.

I've driven on some "paved" roads in New York that are worse than dirt roads in Alabama and Georgia.

And if I'm not mistaken, is that stimulus not cooked into the annual budget?

Yes. However, you are being dishonest blaming Obama. Blame state officials.

That doesn’t answer the question of 1 trillion of shovel ready jobs, where they go?
