So obama can run again

They must be accepting the 4 more years reality with Trump. This Convention must be shite

They need a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, and then it must be raitfied by 3/4 of the states. All so Jug Ears can run again? Good luck with that

The bench for 2024 is non existent for the Democrats. None of their under 60 candidates could get to 15% of the primary votes.

Is Obama the black Reagan? B/c this is the kind of shite that got thrown against the wall when RR was leaving office

Had MSDNC on in the background and caught in my peripheral hearing the segment, but thought they were referencing the 22nd amendment relative to Trump seeking a 3rd term.
Doesn't matter either way, but are you sure it was related to jug ears?

Let's see, they need 38 states' Legislatures to vote for it.
The 100% "NO" votes:
-Alaska
-Alabama
-Arkansas
-Arizona
-Florida
-Georgia
-Idaho
-Indiana
-Iowa
-Kansas
-Kentucky
-Louisiana
-Mississippi
-Missouri
-Montana
-Nebraska
-North Dakota
-Ohio
-Oklahoma
-South Carolina
-South Dakota
-Tennessee
-Texas
-Utah
-West Virginia
-Wyoming
They would have to flip 14 of those States' legislatures.

You have got to think if they lose they will be pushing Michelle Obama big time.

The only way (and I am talking 1 in a thousand shot) is for enough Republican states to vote to abolish so Trump could run and enough dem states to vote to abolish so obama could run.
That ain't happening. Trump will be 78, he isn't going to want that, may frick with people and say he does but no.

I figured if it were in the cards for Michelle Obama's future, they'd seek to put her up for some Congressional seat, preferably Senate, much like Hillary did. To get some heavyweight political experience.

I think the democrat party is past playing by typical convention. She spoke this year and was considered a rockstar by the Democrat party. I think they would convince themselves it wouldn’t matter. This ignores the fact that she has done absolutely nothing at this point other than be married to a President that prepares her for leadership/government.

The Dimwit voters would be perfectly okay with her experience. They would promote it as the first co-presidency, her in the pilot seat and Barry riding shotgun.

Definitely can't say you're wrong about that. I guess I'm assuming that there's one or two people around there (Obama "orbit") that would have the presence of mind to realize that move may well be a necessary to convince the ever important and fickle swing voters to lean her way.
But if that would be the wisest thing to do, then for sure they wouldn't do it.

People want term limits for Congress that we can’t get. No way this happens.

This will backfire on them like everything else.
