If tweet fails to load, click here. Can you imagine living in a republic and having your representatives see stuff like this (you know they are aware) and still say, “Nah, not gonna do it.”

I don't get the mental gymnastics trying to lump Congressional Republicans in with Democrats on this.
Republicans are for Photo ID to vote.
Democrats are against.

I have produce photo ID at my doctor, to write a check, deposit cash, withdraw cash, to take out a loan, to buy liquor, to walk around a theme park, to drive a car, to get into sporting events, applying for a passport, boarding a plane, and yet it’s voter suppression to produce an ID to vote in blue states.

Too many candidates get elected in their home region and go off to DC and drink the swamp water where they then start to represent the swamp forgetting who sent them there. The longer they are there the worse it gets.
Part of a solution to this common problem would be to have Congress become a virtual Congress while keeping the elected in their home region with the people who elected them.
This would also provide security against a kind of "Sole Survivor" kind of scenario.

Repealing DST is a slam-dunk, something that every DC critter I've ever heard speak is in favor of, yet they continue to not do it.
