He absolutely did. Look at the sequence of events. Epstein convicted in 2019. No one in Congress screamed to have the files opened. Maxwell convicted in 2022. No one in Congress screamed to have the files opened. It was over. They were buried.
Then, Musk mentioned that Trump’s name was in the files. People in DC began to salivate and ask for the files. Trump said they are a hoax. Their screams grew louder. Bondi said they were on her desk. Screams grew even louder. Trump said there was nothing in them. Accusations of a cover up and Trump’s guilt began to blow up. Demands for the files reached a fever pitch. Congress passed the Epstein Transparency Act.
Then, and only then, did he release the files. Since that time, he has been exonerated and powerful people have been exposed, and it’s only going to grow.
So, yes, he baited them into their own demise.

My favorite parts of Trump in the files is when the victims attorney and the fbi stated he was the only person willing to help them and that he had banned Epstein from his properties decades ago.
Followed closely by the Obama admin laughing off clearly false allegations made by a man that was involuntarily committed.

It’s so weird then how no Democrat has used this against him, isn’t it? Not in 2016. Not in 2020. Not in 2024.
They made up crimes to indict him.
They changed statutes of limitations to get him.
They reclassified documents to raid his home.
They staged photos to try to prove his guilt.
They brought a RICO case against him for alleging voter fraud.
They even tried to kill him. Twice.
And not once did the Dems think to use the Epstein files.
People all over the world are resigning and/or being arrested for being implicated by the files.
Yet, the Dems didn’t use this? Like I said, weird, huh…
