Yesterday, Rush was climbing the polar vortex was BS and made up by the media and scientist to help explain the cold.
and conservatives eat that shite up. It's amazing.

Yes I'm sure that's it

Lindzen is arguably the climate scientist who's been the wrongest, longest.
Gee thats odd. I'll post this again
quote:
In the 1970s, while a professor at Harvard, Lindzen disproved the then-accepted theory of how heat moves around the Earth’s atmosphere
While all those other dickwads were patting each other on the back, he was showing them how it all works. Appears like hes showing them the way once again
Pardon me while I defer to his knowledge over yours

That is going to leave a mark.

So are we going to be given any feedback on how wrong he has been the past two decades?

Oh we got it. It was in the linked blog. I refuted it earlier in this thread. The same old garbage of him not being peer reviewed, the computer models werent really that off, and AGW really hasnt paused over the last 15 years

Interesting article that contains what I believe are a few fundamental truths about global warming and client change.
Quoting from the article:
Given these facts from the cited article, it seems that no one knows the long-term impact of continuing to burn oil, gas and especially coal that pump carbon dioxide and other gasses into the atmosphere. If everyone can agree on these points from the article, there is the starting point for a real discussion.
Quoting from the article:
quote:
“The burning of oil, gas, and especially coal pumps carbon dioxide and other gases into the atmosphere, where they allow the sun’s heat to penetrate to the Earth’s surface but impede its escape, thus causing the lower atmosphere and the Earth’s surface to warm. Essentially everybody, Lindzen included, agrees.”
quote:
“We all agree that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. All other things kept equal, [there has been] some warming. As a result, there’s hardly anyone serious who says that man has no role.”
quote:
“the computer models that climate scientists rely on to project future temperatures…oversimplify the vast complexity of the Earth’s climate.”

Relative to other sources, what is man's production?

Huge leap between sentence 1 and sentence 3. There has been some warming based on what? Man or Nature? You don't say in the quote.

We can agree on this one. Nobody knows. What I do know is that in 2006 Al Gore made a movie at the same time he was trying to set up a hedge fund that trades carbon credits. He was predicting immenent doom while trying to simultaneously make billions in profit off of it. Is it THAT hard to understand why 'merica is skeptical?

To be clear, these are direct quotes from the article that was linked by the OP and that is being lauded by many posters in this thread. I did not assert these things.
I am wondering whether anyone will give a straight yes or no answer as to whether they agree with the quotes from the article.

Wrong. He said the terminology was changed. The terminology always changes. What used to be "The Jungle" is now "The Rain Forest". What used to be "Global Warming" is now "Climate Change."
Why don't you listen to Rush instead of reading anti-rush sites?

This is true
What they didnt say was this: Only about 0.035 percent of the Earth's atmosphere consists of C02. Only 0.117% of this 0.035% of C02 is produced by man.
Yes thats .117% of the .035%

Straw man, "anyone serious?" Like the serious ones that predicted the melting of all polar ice, more frequent and intense hurricanes and tornadoss, submerged cities, etc.
Hasnt happened. In fact, the opposite is happening. More ice, less frequent storms, lower water levels due to drought
quote:
“the computer models that climate scientists rely on to project future temperatures…oversimplify the vast complexity of the Earth’s climate.”
Bingo! And the reason not one model. Not one single, solitary AGW model predicted was has happened over the past 15 years

Bad News For The Global Warming/Climate Change Fanatic Worshipers: Almost Zero Temperature Growth In Northern Hemisphere Since 1866
The graph below merges the 2002 Version Of GISS 1866-1882 NH temperatures, the 1975 National Academy of Sciences 1882-1970 NH temperatures, and RSS 1979-2014 NH temperatures. There have been two cooling periods and two warming periods since 1866, with almost no net change in temperature.

I have been making fun of it for awhile and I don't happen to listen to Rush.

From the Comments section of the link in my last post.

How big is the climate change fraud?? This is just the tip of the iceberg.
“Research from the London-based Overseas Development Institute (ODI) showed 2013 climate finance pledges were 71% lower than the previous year, way off the $100 billion a year rich nations have pledged to deliver by 2020.”
