When do they get their weapons back?
According to FOX News, the woman's gun wasn't even a real gun and the gun the man was shown with was not even loaded with ammo. This DA bitch needs to have her jets cooled by the AG.

I'm parsing the words here so what exactly does "files to drop" charges mean and how is it different from over-riding the local and just hitting the eject button?
Answering my own question: it basically means the AG is asking the court where the charges were filed to drop the case.
The court could say no - so not over yet.

I'm not in favor of them being charged, but if we were talking about, say, robbing a bank, you go down for armed robbery even if it's a prop or an unloaded firearm.
And on a common-sense level, it's idiotic to "defend" yourself with something that only looks like a gun. It's a good way to get yourself shot.
But the issue is, they were defending their home, so no crime was committed as I see it.
