Michael Irving on Dart introducing Trump

He rambles on about dividing the locker room, keeping politics/money out of the locker room.
He doesn't say anything about Abdul blasting his feelings out on tweeter.
Talks about Harbaugh supporting Trump.
All this bodes well for the Cowboys week 1
I haven't heard say anything about Jerry Jones having long time friend Slick Willy at the Cowboys pre-draft party.
He talks about Dart towards the end.

Did he rip on any athletes that went to the White House during Obama's or Biden's tenures?

Well it didn’t happen in the locker room, so….

He is a fricking crackhead. Who once had a bounty on his head by a DPD officer. He is the last person who should be giving any advice on anything. He is a grown up mop head.

Backlash from introducing Trump?
Anyone saying there should be backlash is a hack that should be outed as such.
Any actual backlash will be proportional to how well the guy can play.
The NFL only punishes people that are of marginal value to the league (Kapernick, etc.).
Republicans players of high value (Mahomes, Brady, Rogers) are allowed to have opinions without issue.
Of course any player spouting dumb leftist shite ("hands up dont shoot", etc.) need fear nothing.

As someone with mostly black teammates, this wasn't a good idea on Dart's part from a team chemistry standpoint.
Explain away the Obama ape video Truth Social all you want, but it happened, and it was a terrible look from Trump, and black people have a reason to resent it.

He did, however, stab Everett McIver in the neck with a pair of scissors in the team barbershop and Jerry Jones paid McIver not to say anything. So there’s that

You’re saying professionals are going to not perform because of their QBs beliefs or whom he is around? Let them and I hope the owners start shite canning them.

MichaelIrving is stupid. He's totally oblivious to the fact that there's a complete double standard here. Hell, his fellow idiot LeBron James has kissed thr arse of every left-wing politician in the country and he's never received any blowback whatsoever.
I feel the same way about these former athletes being hired as talking heads as I do about the woman on The View. As long as they are going to hire them, can't they at least find some who arent dumber than dirt?

Are you claiming all black people are racist, just the ones in the NFL or just the ones on his team?

Nope! That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that football is the ultimate team sport, and the idea is to not create distractions for the team and take the focus away from the field. Just like when Kaepernick decided to create a major distraction for the 49ers and took the focus off of the field.
