What a Dumbass. Mexico of all the countries has owned that territory for the shortest time period. From 1821 to 1824 when the territories of New Mexico and California receive semi autonomy. It was their first step in breaking away from Mexico who was not strong enough to police it. They were joined by Baja and Colima territories. Several other territories received autonomy following all the way up to 1836 when Texas revolted.

By 1837 and the Treaties of Velasco signed by Antonio López de Santa Anna - Texas included more land along the Rio Grande that would be part of New Mexico.

By 1848 they lost all that territory in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

So he should go back to 1821 when Mexico was at its greatest expanse, but then he would have to admit that Mexico "stole it from Spain"

They legitimately lost TEXAS in 1836. Whatever was part of us then, stays (in other words, half of New Mexico - and the other half with the nuclear research labs also stays with us).

At this point i am against concessions like paying for land and such after we kick someone's arse. Either assimilate or kick People out
