And think of how much change has come of this bullshite story
And how many other people have died do to riots and protests? That's the kicker.

Both funny and sad. And just a roundabout way of summing up 2020 politics.

Well...the lungs themselves are not known to be a muscle but google "asthma".

The muscles around the airways contract and the airways produce extra mucus, causing the breathing (bronchial) tubes to narrow
But to be honest I don't know what a fentanyl overdose would do.

If he had meth and fentanyl in his system but it’s a homicide because of restraints? Did I read that right?

Contracts your trachea causing you to drown on your own spit.

The autopsy revealed no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation
That really isn’t that abnormal for asphyxiation.

quote:The lungs themselves are not a muscle. The bronchial system does but that has nothing to do with a fentanyl overdose. The muscles involved in breathing are the internal and external intercostals, primarily the diaphragm and occasionally the scalenes. Accessory muscles come into play in the event of injury like a high spinal cord injury but that pretty irrelevant to an opioid overdose. Although you probably get an overall muscle weakening of all muscles; not only those of breathing but I suspect it's more of a CNS depression of all bodily functions as you get slowed heart rate as well as low blood pressure.

If fentanyl overdose is going to be their defense then someone is going to have to explain why they didn't administer naloxone (narcan).
